Chapter 1: The Incident of change

      So Stark and i plus the nerd herd had just gotten back from fighting half human half bird creatures."Bird things" as my snobby friend would put it. I would love to say this mission was easy but it was no where close to easy it was quite challenging actually. My warrior Stark his bow broke when he tried to shoot one of the "bird things". I almost got killed. We lost Erin a raven mocker killed her and so Shaylin took her place in the circle. I can't stop crying even though Erin acted like a jerk i still can't get over losing her. I changed into my pajama's when we got back to the Pennsylvania  house of night. Stark and i are sitting in my room i'm sitting in his lap as he rubs my back and telling me everything will be ok and that i should not worry so much because then my black hair will eventually will be all gray hairs. He has me a little worried. We just  sit there together and i start dreaming about possibly having children and marrying stark he says to me" Zoey i am your warrior not your husband i am sorry but please don't think like that" i get up and walk out and towards my favorite tree and sit there watching the rain fall i lean against the tree. A guy walks up to me and i say oh um hello there welcome to the house of ni.... He shoved a rag in my mouth and duck taped it there. I try to scream but the rag goes farther down my throat.
      So i scream through my warrior bond with Stark help me Stark help! I watch as he runs out carrying a bow and a notched arrow he runs towards me and then we disappear this guy somehow teleported. I am screaming in my head wishing i could break free this guys power scares me. I say why am i here as they tie to me a bed and he says don't move or u will die. One arm and one leg tied to each of the 4 bed posts. They say go tell the boss we captured the Zoey Redbird girl. I try to scream but the rag goes farther down my throat. I cant breath and the walls seem to be closing in on me i think i am claustrophobic. Fire starts to burn the rope holding me down and Air breaks the windows in this storage like warehouse. Vines break the door in half because they wrapped around it many times over and put the door under a lot of pressure. Water fills the room i am in i take a deep breath and swim for the door then some guy hits me in the head with a frying pan and the elements disappear even the water i stumble back hiss at the guy then black out and fall to the ground a big bump on my head.I wake up naked and tied to a pole i hide myself completely behind the pole. i'm only n a bra and underwear i hide then they come in to torture me when Stark breaks in the door before they can touch me.
      I realize then how naked i am i say umm hi Stark i blush that he can see me like this he notches arrows and shoots the people dead and walks over cuts me loose and he gives me his sweatshirt .F.Y.I. they are huge on me he picks me up and puts me in his black jeep and starts driving back to the house of night. He has me sitting on his lap afraid to let me leave him scared i will disappear again. I say to him stark i'm not leaving again don't worry ok please calm  down your driving extremely fast. We get there he picks me up bridal style and carries me inside to my room he lays me in bed. I say thank you for coming and saving me Stark. He says baby i will always save you and i won't ever let anybody hurt you but me being your guardian doesn't mean i cant have a little fun with my lady. i smile really big and say i love you Stark.
      Stark climbs into bed next to me and keeps telling me everything will  be ok and that they cant hurt me now but i am starting to not believe that.He snuggles me safe and sound against him. He sets his bow against the side of the bed and so then we fall asleep safe and sound then when suddenly Stevie-Rae, damien ,Shaunee , and Shaylin burst in the doorway and yell Happy Birthday Zoey! My eyes are red for some unknown reason. I say if i have to get up so does my warrior i shake him and say stark wake up he pulls me into a hug and rolls away from everybody i say mhhhhmmm baby you are so warm. I reach up and sniff
at his neck and say u smell amazing to babe.
      I bite down on the crook of his neck and drink oh im sorry i forgot to tell you i have a huge attraction to blood being as i am a vampire high Priestess i should be allowed to drink blood. I keep drinking and stark is awake and reaching for his bow thinking i am some random red vampyre who bit him sadly im not red and not a random vampyre. My friends are yelling for me to stop and heath runs in and trys to yank me off him saying Zo! Zo please let him go its me and you we belong together. I finally pull away when i feel an arrow against the back of my neck i hear a very strict voice say where is my lady, Zoey Redbird? i say stark ur about to shoot your lady snap out of it wake up he does so and i back away saying oh my goddess stark i am so sorry please dont shoot me for that. He says i am not gonna shoot u he drops the arrow and i say r u ok stark. He says oh yeah im great just warn me next time your getting hungry my vampyre so that i can feed ahead of time he starts to sway getting woozy from blood loss i say oh babe im soooooo sorry. I say you are the red vampyre not me u need blood not me my warrior needs it i his lady Redbird only crave it and normally he gives me it willingly so yeah this time i did not warn him ahead of time like i normally do.
      I say stark i am sorry for hurting you but im about to make it up to you by giving u the thing u need right now i pull out an athame from my pocket an athame is a small ritual blade that i kept from the goddess's temple. i pull  him against the now bleeding wound and say drink my warrior regain your amazing strength by drinking from me. He says you ask for the beast with in me but it will hurt you i say i dont care i wont lose you because of my own stupidity.He says fine i shall give you then beast my lady but i have warned you i giggle and say yes you have warned me my warrior. He puts a hand at the back of my neck and the other arm wrapped around my waist holding me tightly. He licks the cut then bites down hard and sharp on the the long thin cut on my collar bone. i gasp at first from the slight pain then start moaning from all the pleasure of his bite Heath backs away like he has been burned by me and stark. I start squirming because of all the pleasure and my body feels like it is on fire everywhere. i say woah this is one hell of an experience. Stark pulls away all done i fall back onto the bed passed out from blood loss and i'm shaking lightly. He say zoey my lady that was the best blood ive ever tasted in fact that is the best thing i have ever tasted is your blood. i mumble glad you enjoyed my blood. I lay on the bed and fall asleep from the bloodloss. Shaunee says she better not die son of erebus or so help me i will torch you. a flame floating above her hands. Stark says with a calm face i will be fine no worries and i would not let lady Redbird die i promise u have my oath fledgliung he bows and shaunee turns and walks out.
       I wake up hours later and stark hands me a cup of i sniff it and say blood? He says correct and its mine drink up my lady. I smile at him then down the glass of blood. I still have some on my lips he comes over and kisses it off then i snap and we are both back in our normal clothes and we r perfectly fine. I stand up and say my warrior get some sleep for it is sunny out and ur a red vampyre i kiss her red crescent moon then walk out and into the sun lit courtyard erik sees me and says zoey you should not be outside unprotected he walks beside me i say erik! i am fine now go away! i walk off without him and some guy punches me knocking me unconscious and into the wall stark feels it through the bond between us and i can already hear his tone of voice practically he is pissed at this guy The guy touches my forehead and says some words in old english really old. Maybe it is enochian. Or the goddess language called the vampire english i laugh
then black out completely in the sun and there is a horrible looking gash on the back of my head. Stark runs straight into the sun and i see stevie-rae lift her hand and a boulder goes over him he shotts the guy and kills him. I say stark when he picks me up and carries me back inside i slip under my blood everwhere in the courtyard especially one the south wall where i hit my head. I feel the back of my head and the gash and then slip under into the blackness and slip into a coma like state.

       

                                       Chapter 2: Waking up and finding out the life changing news!

      

I wake up months later and the doctors tell me i was lucky to wake up i only woke because of shaylin and stevie-raes healing without them i would have died. I sit up im staving for blood a weird craving to have right after being out for that long. I'm still alittle groggy when i try to stand i say stark n a  whisper it feels weird to talk. Stark who is half asleep still says u wont touch her he points an arrow that is knotched on his bow at me i say through the warrior bond Don't shoot me! he lowers the bow looks at me and says zoey? i say yes stark it's me. He drops the bow and gets up walks the 2 feet over to me and pulls me into a tight hug and says zoey thank goddess your ok, i was so worried that i had lost u and that the moniter was broken possibly, I thought you were gonna die. I say i thought i was to.  He rubs my back while hugging me. I say its ok baby im not going anymore. I black out in his arms and bite his shoulder. He yells Stevie-Rae! she runs in and says yes stark and she sees that all my markings are red,my eyes blood red, and i have fangs and those fangs are in starks shoulder. She says that guy who threw her into the wall killed her she points to his arm and says and now your blood is going to bring her back to life.I look at stevie-rae and bow and say a red one welcome.I shake my head and say stevie-rae wait what where is stark did the sun get him?!?!? i start to sway and im crying really hard then strong arms clasp me around the waist i look back and see stark holding me i say stark? He says yes darling its me. I scream turn around and hug him crying tears of joy and saying stark my warrior my love my everything thank gosh u didnt get hurt. He says zo shh im not going anywhere calm down. i say stark i saw u and u saved me then i realized the sun and then everything went black stark im scared i thought i lost you. 

      He picks up his bow and saysits finally nighttime wanna go for a walk with me my mo ban ri (queen). I say sure i would love to go for a walk with you my warrior we walk into the moonlight and my marks start glowing along with my eyes they are glowing red my eyes turn red. he says babe wait he pushes me behind him and points his bow at the tree shaking in front of us he says whoever you are u will lose ur life if u dont comply he says step out from behind the tree killer shaylin steps out a stream of water follows her there is a squirrel in her mouth her hands up it falls out pf her mouth out of sheer terror she says stark dont kill me i was just hunting she backs away her marks and starks marks glowing to along eith mine. He says shh shaylin sorry thought u were someone who was trying to kill zoey he mumbles again she says oh sorry its night time im just feasting now along with the other red fledglings u really should feed to stark he says not right now later i will me and zo are going for a walk.

                                         
My moon glows red  and i take off running into the woods. My eyes are blood red i hiss when stark walks up to me. I put my hands behind me and dig them into the tree behind me. There are dragged claw marks in the tree. Stevie-rae grabs me from behind and whispers in my ear Zoey Redbird listen to me choose light and you will be able to come back to us. I hiss at them, but instead the red in my eyes fades. I say stark what happ.... wait stevie-rae my bestest friend why are you holding my hands behind my back you are scaring me?!?! She says stark is it still glowing? He says nope it isn't. She lets me go. I run over and hug stark then he catches me as i collapse to the ground. I move my hand weakly across his cheek and then he gets cut on his neck and cheek by my nails. Stark says owww! I say stark I'm so sorry. He says go ahead and drink i know u must be hungry if you would go to long lengths to hurt ur warrior. I lean up pulling him to me. My mark glows red and my eyes turn blood red. I say thank you. I bite down on the cut on his neck and drink. Shaylin says Stark look at her eyes and mark they look like ours after we were changed but were caught in darkness. That guy really did turn her to one of us. I say I'm going hunting i get up and run towards a village.
      I walk up to a lady bite her and she screams from pain and i say shut up and pipe down human. I pull her into an alley and say stop screaming or i will kill you oh wait i already am i laugh then bite down and start drinking again. Stark walks over and pushes me off the lady and i see stevie-rae, her imprinted rephaim, dallas and shaylin, they are staring at me. I hiss at them. Dallas says that growl/hiss is one of darkness and she is trapped in it. Stevie-rae hugs rephaim and while crying says rephaim my dear how ever is she gonna get back to us, stark how do we help her? He says we see if she will allow herself to kill one of us from drinking. Stevie-rae says i will do it she cuts her neck and the smell attracts me i bite her and drink then she blacks out and i pause then turn back to normal. She falls back onto Rephaim's chest.but says yes. I am fine dont worry about me please. She falls asleep in rephaims arms. I say oh Stevie-rae I'm so sorry I turned around and run but instead of the lonely alley i ran into starks chest on accident. I say stark ive been turned to a red vampire and i cant seem to find my way out of the darkness. Help me stark!! I grip his shirt tightly my nails digging into his chest. The mark starts glowing again he touches my now glowing moon and it turns a purple color then bright red again and he says now she has found the light she was surrou ded by darkness and just needed a light to follow out. I collapse into his arms. I wake up back in my room and say why am i all burnt up? i looked at my arms and they are all burnt up. I walk into an uncurtained window then scream and jump back and scream im burning again. Stark tackles me and covers me in a blanket my mark glows red i stand in the sunlight then and i dont burn i say stark what changed i am not burning now he says ur mark is glowing. The mark stops glowing i burn again and collapse to the ground then erik runs in and bandages the burns.
      I pull him to me and suddenly bite him he says let go and screams stark pulls him away from me. My eyes are red stark puts me up to his neck and i bite him. Then pull away and say drink babe he says the beast has come since you called it my mo ban ri. He bites down and feeds for awhile then lays me on my bed. I wake up two weeks later stark gone and its night time there is a note near my bed it says:

My lady, My Mo ban ri,
I have gone out hunting and then i will
be in the field house doing target practice.
i will be back before sunset.
Love,
Your protector, guardian, and warrior

     I smile fold up the note, put it in my pocket. Then step outside into the moonlight then my moon glows the familiar darkness red. I run towards the field house fangs growing in. Stark shoots the arrow then sees me when he goes to get another arrow. He says oh shit, zoey snap out of it please. He notches the arrow in his bow and shoots at the target and sadly was thinking of me for those of you who dont know his power this is a very bad thing the arrow disappears and hits me straight in the heart. Stark gasps when he realizes what has he done. I say stark thank you. He tells me to stay still and he yanks the arrow out and cradles me and says zo you are a bad girl your dreams were always a bother for you and you needed better dreams. I say oops i forgot you feel exactly what i feel. He says yeah i forgot about the bond sometimes to when i was with you and we were both happy. I say stark i love you forever and ever and if i was to die i wanted to be by your hands. He says your not gonna die not ever if i have a say in this. He half laughs half chokes. I say Stark i lean up and kiss him. Then Zoey Redbird of the Pennsylvania house of night died. Stark bowed his head and cryed and cryed for days/weeks/months and when i died the imprint with heath shattered he later committed suicide before the imprint shattered because he felt me dying and did not want to be alone. Stark died in his sleep because he refused to feed and red vampires need blood to survive.
